Jim Caple, a writer for ESPN.com, spent a week in Champaign as part of an effort to follow the schools in the NCAA basketball tournament from campus. During his stay, he took a picture while on top of the Alma Mater statue (reference this link - about halfway down the page).
This was the same freakin statue I was busted by a white female cop for climbing...nevermind the fact that it was around 10 or 11 on a Thursday night...and that it was 3 years ago. She took down my info, then said something to the effect of "they don't want people climbing on it". F*ck that...Jim Caple posted a picture of himself standing on top of the friggin thing on ESPN.com! I hate goddamn sexist racist bitches!
