mewithoutYou (supporting The Menzingers) @ Neumos (11/14/2015)

So, this was really a The Menzingers show, but I was only there to see mewithoutYou, who was their main supporting act.  I (luckily) arrived a few minutes before mwY's set, and left soon after they were done - I didn't see any bands that played before or after them.

I think they were only supposed to play for about 45 minutes (though they might have gone a bit longer), and they made the most of their time.  They went straight in and out of songs, with only a couple of brief pauses to thank the other bands, the crew, and the fans.  The 12+ (just guessing) song setlist spanned their entire catalog, with their latest album only getting a few (though probably the biggest representation of all of them).  I was mostly pleased with their song selection.  There's not too much more to say about them that I haven't remarked on before.  I'm glad that I decided to attend the show (I only bought a ticket 3 days before, which is pretty late for me) despite the cold and wet weather.  Getting to and from the venue was also my first Seattle bus experience.
