Nothing beats a free three-course meal...

Especially when you get to meet County Executive Charlie Dooley (who, coincidentally, is a former McDonnell-Douglas employee...guess I know my future profession after retirement from Boeing).

This took place at the Japanese American Citizens League St. Louis Chapter Inaugural Dinner. I was graciously invited by my friend and co-worker, Steve Mitori, who is the Vice President of Membership. I sat at a table with a couple whose last name was Nigro (and, in case you were wondering, they were white).

Also, Steve and I are looking into plans to travel to Seattle and Vancouver later this year. Get in now if you're interested.
